Seeking a Friend for the End of the World?

That poster is quite similar, maybe even a rip-off of that movie.

reply

There is NOTHING even remotely in common.

Well, then you must be vision impaired. There's a man and a woman standing in the same exact placement, with the same exact expression while destruction occurs in the background. Both posters have a small dog at the bottom. Both posters have the title in the same yellow color and font. How could you honestly say they have NOTHING in common? Are you blind?

reply

I don't remember how the poster 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World' looked like, and it's irrelevant. But even if they look similar on the face of it, the meaning of what is really on them couldn't be more different. If you'd see both films this comparison wouldn't even cross your mind.

reply

I don't remember saying anything about the meaning behind the films. The actual movies probably do have nothing in common. I was clearly talking about how the poster looked. So basically, you were having your own discussion that I didn't start.

reply

If you don't remember what it looked like, then don't comment on how similar the two are.

Thanks for taking the time to tell me what to do. This isn't necessary. My comment wasn't about poster anyway, as I reacted to this statement "maybe even a rip-off of that movie".

reply

I didn't take his comment about it being a rip-off as him saying the film itself was a rip-off. I figure he was still talking about the posters and their similarities.

Just learn to read properly so that you don't react to things you imagine.

This style of poster is very common and popular. Just look at romance novel covers! It's likely a parody of the style. Same goes for the cover of Army of Darkness for example.

We've met before, haven't we?
