Wedding Pictures On The Camera

What were the wedding pictures on the camera about? Maybe they dressed up that way before doing something weird. The wedding imagery parallels the girls at the restaurant getting married.

The point of it is probably to show Chris' psychosis. He got with the couple and then with the guy with the chamber. His sexual problems are the cause of his rage towards guys with more looks or money.

The wedding theme is probably present because Tina realizes that there will never be a marriage between her and Chris, just a holiday. Tina is still under the thumb of her mother, they are probably both witches, and what she did at the end was an intentional human cult sacrifice, and not a girl chickening out of a suicide pact. The site where they did it is important too, as most of the places they went were ruins and probably places of past cult ceremonies.

People think that at the end Tina started to jump and then hesitated, she was just faking him out.

The movie is really about Tina of course, that she is a witch. She plays Chris and acts like he is introducing her to evil, but she was evil all along, and setting him up for the fall.

Most of Wheatley's movies have been an extension of Kubrick. They deal with the psyche and the occult. Down Terrace, Kill List, and Sightseers show the manners of English living juxtaposed with images of extreme sociopathic behavior in a way that is sometimes horror and other times dark humor.

What is scary is how crazy people treat murder and insanity as casual as buttons and mints. It is a problem in our world today, the lack of empathy.

Great movie though.

I didn't understand that part, it starts with Tina screaming that the picture wasn't her vagina, it was someone else's... so, whose was it? Then wedding photos, were those taken before their Erotic Tour? Then she saw some outdoor selfies of the boyfriend and knew he had killed the guy with glasses.

Chris stole the camera from the guy he killed. The photos were old ones of him and his wife, hence Tina didn't recognise her vagina.

Everybody in the WORLD, is bent

Ah thx, makes sense now.

How did you manage to miss that he took the camera from the guy he killed??
Whatever I want to know is why the hell he didnt erase the memory card.

reply

Cuz most people on vacation have their own camera and the lead woman wasn't surprised by a completely new unfamiliar camera which she expected pics of her vagina to appear, also while knowing perfectly how to operate it to view stored photos.

Operating the camera wasn't an issue, their all pretty straight forward for viewing pictures that have already been taken.

I can also buy that she didn't notice it was totally new to the trip.... maybe he didn't want pictures of the first museum huh...

Like I said, the biggest issue is why Chris didn't delete all the pictures that were already saved on it. Which would've removed any issues caused by them.

You're a *beep* idiot. I suggest you don't bother watching any more films.

I can't believe there's even a thread on this. The joke was that she was confused about the pictures, but the audience knew all along that it wasn't his camera. I don't know how some of you get through the day with such terminal confusion about such a simple part of the plot.

Agreed

It was prettty obvious to me it was Ian's camera (the guy he pushed off the crag) we see said camera snapping away just before he falls

reply

Thank you! How are you all as dim as Tina???

-Chris talks to Ian, who's taking pictures.
-Chris kills Ian.
-Chris is now in possession of a camera we've only seen Ian with.

We've met before, haven't we?
