When Rodrick sings his big solo for Heather Hills, did anyone else notice that when Heather picks up the mic stand and swings it, it magically disappears mid-swing? Also how does one take a baseball swing at a chocolate sculpture and cover themselves with the chocolate? The whole sequence seems out of whack.
shareHaha we said the same thing! They swung the camera around or something to make it look like she had it the whole time. Then the chocolate from in front of her magically flew into her, wtf?
We assumed it was something that made sense in the book but didn't transition well to the screen...

Nothing to do with the book, it's a big editing/coverage problem, they didn't shoot the scene correctly, or change it radically later. It was rather disgraceful, yes.
