I don't think the show is that bad at all. Although some jokes really fall flat or are disgusting, there's enough good stuff to keep me in. I think it seems like the hate might have to do with Daniel Tosh.
I am pretty much unfamiliar with Tosh so that's where I'm coming from
I don't think it's that bad either.....Some jokes are IMHO so tasteless or "edgy offensive without reason' that you almost feel ashamed for the makers but, there also some good ones in it, and i must say that some of m i even consider really good (yes, i really said it.
The characters could be more worked out, and i think that with without the (too) tasteless bits the overall feeling would be all better. That being said, iv read some complaining about the thin story lines and i think Brickleberry still does a lot better than Family guy (which is just a bunch of popculture jokes and flashbacks thrown together). Cant really understand why people think thats so good/ clever. The Simpsons is obviously a more brilliant show but even these episodes can have pretty thin, jumping from situation to situation-likey comedy.
I guess my conclusion is that, without the vagina, rape and rascist jokes (those are the ones i find to be stupid/tasteless) its pretty ok. Im curious how this show would be received if Tosh wasnt connected like TS. just my feelings.
It's survival of the fittest, Max, and we've got the *beep* gun!
Some things that I did not enjoy to the point where it went beyond a missed joke to something that offended my sensibilities: -I thought the bloodlust with the squabbits was overly graphic -The squabbits humping was kind of not something I enjoyed watching... -For that matter, I really didn't like the animal humping scenes -Seeing Malloy be suspended in air by the guy's member inside him was a little much -I thought it was funny that Denzel likes really old people, but I don't know if I wanted to hear him to have foreplay with her over the phone with the lady. And the three of them in bed together -Connie's vagina sounding like a tiger growling, I'm not sure, why but it kind of is a disgusting sound to me
Agreed. Love Tosh's stand-up, and his clip show is pretty good too. But that has no impact on this being pretty bad. He's a small bit character in this anyway, it's not like he writes and directs the episodes. It's not even the same type of humor as his other stuff, so I dunno what the OP is even talking about...
"dude i dont care i just love this movie you guys have a realy taste in movies what wrong with you"
I have the opposite problem. For me the show is just TOO GOOD. I feel that we are getting too much quality on cable television, and watching the show for free just doesn't seem right. It seems like a show that should be on HBO, due to the high quality. I hope that Comedy Central will either cancel the show so that it will go to another high quality network like HBO or Showtime, or that they will dumb down the show so that we won't feel so guilty watching it.
I have to say, I'm not going to watch this show, and i don't like Daniel Tosh... But whenever I see a commercial for this show, it just feels like it's trying too hard to be edgy... Just like Daniel Tosh. He may not be the mastermind, but a mixture of him and the general attitude is enough to make me not want to watch a single episode. I keep seeing commercials where it touts, "uh, YEAH, it's that kind of cartoon", and it makes me cringe... Whoa, Brickleberry, you made my *beep* monocle pop off! Stop with your indecency!
I think Daniel Tosh is very funny, Kaitlin Olson is hilarious in Always Sunny, and I loved Tom Kenny and Jerry Minor in Mr. Show. This show still sucks.
like this show, daniel 'the gayest man on the planet' tosh both are untalented, steal people ideas and videos to earn money... but hey if you are an untalented rascist *beep* like gayboy tosh you have to run around naked every single episode to hide the fact:
this douchebag is untalented, annoying and gay as hell
