Correlation between liking this show and IQ

I used to love Simpsons until it turned into dull self-repeating bullcrap, after that I started to love Family guy and American dad, until they turned into dull self-repeating bullcrap. Now a friend recommended me Brickleberry. I have watched the episodes that are out and I find it absolutely brilliant. It's fresh and full of energy. So I thought I'd check out IMBD entry for it. I was pretty sure it's over 8 but I was wondering if it's higher than Family guy yet.

6,2! POW. Couldn't believe my eyes.

Luckily when looking at the separate stats one can see that the voters are highly polarized, some 30% giving it a 10 and 15% giving it a 1.

So I assume that people either like it or not, not many think it's an average show. So I read some posts from haters on this board and they seem to imply that this is a show with lame jokes that is liked by stupid people. Well, idk, I have an University degree and my IQ is in top 2% of the population (no NOT according to free online tests), and I absolutely love the show. So maybe the haters are the ones who are too dumb to see beyond the graphic jokes and enjoy the cunning, witty humour of this show.

I laughed. Not at the show, but at your post.

Seriously, I am amazed at the amount of comments saying that people who don't find this show funny are just too dumb to get the jokes. This is standard LCD humor, and it really doesn't bring anything new to the table that isn't already done to death in other shows.

Yeah, and bragging, even as mildly as you did so, about your IQ on an internet message board is like stabbing a bucket of vasoline with a screwdriver; pointless. All I see is horribly mean-spirited writing, nothing more. Given, it has all the elements to be decent, except for the lesbian punching bag that's there simply out of malice. If it had some retooling, it might pick up.

Results still inconclusive ?

University educated here, and in a non-pointless field at that (engineering.)

I just started watching the show, and I enjoy it. No, it's not Simpsons in its prime, or even South Park in its prime, but it's amusing.

I don't think there is much to that.
I like the show but it is a little bit flat overall (like something is missing)
but i attribute that to simply age.

Compare to the first season of almost any animated comedy that is popular right now.. they often have to find their groove and then people still complain anyway.
For example South Park first few seasons didn't do much for me.. now a days
that show is unstoppable.. they are getting funnier and more consistent.

Not going to lie, you sound like an extremely condescending prick.

Yes, I see what you're saying.

The problem with Brickleberry is, it has potential, but very little good material.

However, if you want to see an offensive, yet HILARIOUS episode, watch the most recent one (which when I wrote this was) "Write 'em Cowboy."

It's where the main character (Steve) wants to sing country music, but writes counrty songs with "double-entendres" (his lyrics could be mistaken for graphic sexual acts) even though he doesn't see it.

It also showed me that David Herman is a half-decent singer.

But yes, only about 20% of the total shows were any good.
