This was actually not bad, and Anne Heche was good in it

Nothing super original here, but it was good for what it is. A fun tense thriller with a touch of satire about wealth and privilege.

Anne Heche was particularly good, I thought.

I would categorize this in the same lane as the Scream movies. Not bone-chilling horror, but escapist slasher fun. And not as tired and boring as the new Scream sequels.
