Any difference between IMDB's 2010 and 2011 listing?

When I do a search for "The Walking Dead" I find two listed; one from 2010 and one from 2011. They each have their own episode list. I'm confused because every time I look for a series it is shown under one title, regardless of the year. For example: True Blood. There have been four seasons and it shows all episodes from all seasons under a single title, not listed by year. Am I correct in assuming that "The Walking Dead 2010" and "The Walking Dead 2011" are the same show, and just a continuation? I would think so since they both appear to be on AMC. If so, I wonder why IMDB did this differently?

The one earlier topic on this board should answer your questions.

No, not really. :(

The 2010 listing is AMC's tv-show and the 2011 is a web series.

"[..] is a web series", The Walking Dead (2011), is listed as: 'TV Mini-Series', while the original is labeled: 'TV Series'; but, eye don't get how come they're allowed to use the same name; are they both AMC's?!??

99% of new films are garbage

Yes, they are both part of the AMC show. The 2011 listing is for the webisodes, and there are two seasons. It would have been helpful if IMDB listed them as "The Walking Dead: Torn Apart" and "The Walking Dead: Cold Storage," but they didn't.

The webisodes had a few relatively prominent actors in them - meaning, they weren't terrifically famous, but they weren't no-names, either (like Rex Linn and Josh Stewart).

neat . . . sweet . . . petite

web series means ..?

Do you really not know what a web series is, or are you being facetious?
Just in case you, or others don't know what a web series is, it is a series shown on line (on the "web" - hence the name). To further help, a "webisode" is an episode of a web series.
I hope that helps.

Yeah the web series is just plain awful.

Wouldn't call it terrible.. it's just a small prequel to the original series. There are 5-6 eps that in total add up to about 20+ mins. If you're a fan of the show, it's well worth your time to watch it.
