Just saw it today and...
I thought the fight scenes were good, maybe a bit too flashy and unrealistic but still thought it was entertaining and cool. The storyline was not that good and the acting was pretty bad.

shareThe fight scenes were okay and all but too focused on the family. All Jeeja fans will be sorely disappointed at the lack of her scenes and how little they lived up to her potential. Still, what she gave was enjoyable, just more of a tease. I really don't recommend anyone watch this all the way through, and not even for all the fight scenes. Sorry Jeeja fans, though it is somewhat better than Rising Phoenix just not centered around her.
sharePrachya Pinkaew has the habit of making his films to flashy, so you shouldn't be to surprised.

I thought the acting was superb. The ways the actors delivered their lines. korean actors are really good, very natural. Some believe it has to do with how dramatic Korean people are in day to day life, and how colorful the language is.
shareJust watched it tonight. I'd be anticipating the movie for at least a year so it probably wasn't going to live up to my own personal hype. However, I had fun with it. I was really impressed by the skills of the Korean family's daughter. Her kicks were out of this world.
shareThe movie has its moments, but overall very disappointing. The first part really dragged, but once Jeeja showed up, it did get better. Jeeja looks great in this movie, so if you are a fan, that alone makes it worth watching, but as a serious martial arts movie it is lacking.
shareI've never seen a martial arts movie that I couldn't wait to for it to end (that's not true, I've seen plenty that I could barely make it though but I usually love Thai action movies). This was very tiresome. Started out well with some good fight scenes with all involved but after awhile it was just a circus act with everyone flying through the air. I know Tae Kwon Do is known for kicks but after awhile it just seemed unrealistic to watch everyone throwing fancy moves in a life or death situation.
I didn't realize Jeeja Yanin was in this until afterwards but was wondering if she'd be while I was watching. She very good as expected but her scenes weren't significant enough for someone of her stature in thai action movies. She should have been featured more.
I also could have done without the excess comedy. I know there's always a quite bit of it in asian action movies but it really took away from the action. Once I saw Petchtai Wongkamlao show up, I knew there'd be some slapstick but I wasn't expecting this much.
And the final showdown was a big disappointment. I was hoping to see a good confrontation but they let the elephants steal most of the show.
it was almost watchable
