Oh wow. I feel so lucky to have found this tonight.

I am a 70s/80s kid. Bruce Lee, Chuck, Van Damme. This took from those movies that were often low budget, not the best story, but fun, and just perfected it. Sure, you know the boss fight is coming at the end, but it doesn't matter because how you get there is fantastic. It's like Keanu made a tribute film to all those other movies by making it so integrated and so much better. Cleaner. Good production values.

There is even a kick me in the jimmy bit, huge tribute to several movies.

I can't believe I missed this. If you are a martial arts movie fan, this movie is fantastic.

Agreed. I wasn't expecting too much from this movie (doesn't have the best reviews on here.... like it really matters though), but I ended up enjoying every minute of it. Keanu's direction, the fight scenes, the production values... it was all good, as far as I'm concerned.

You want something corny? You got it!

Agreed. I thought it was a pretty good directorial debut from Keanu, about a subject of which he is clearly passionate.🐭
