Yep, as soon as you said you did not watch the movie, your opinion is null and void dumbass. It was actually an extremely well written movie about the nature of Chi and the fight scenes were good / great but not amazing. However, for Keanu's first film? pretty damn spectacular all around. Camera work was exceptional, fight scenes were clean and well choreographed, the story is basic, but also doesn't need to be complex.
So maybe, next time before you post how "what were the directors thingking...' watch the whole movie first.
As spookyrat1 said, there was one director, and he was thinking of making a classic homage to old style kung fu movies, and he came damn close to achieving that goal of making a classic.
I wanted to give it an 8/10 (i'm stingy with votes) just due to the fact that this was Reeves first directorial debut, and who knows, i've watched it a few times over the years and really, with every viewing, I find something that I missed which makes me appreciate it even more.
but you go on wondering what directors are thingKing when discussing a movie you admit to have not seen. Considering you think thingking is a word, and you didn't know that this was Keanu's first film, and didn't watch the movie to begin with, maybe you should go sit back at the little kids table and let the grownup's talk eh?
I just finished watching all of the fight scenes in the Matrix and OMG where did they get all of those guns? I have no idea what the directors were thingking there!!!!! (See how stupid you sound?)
Two words : Dumb Ass.
