English language snippets

I watched this in the UK with English subtitles (I am white and British and speak no language other than English).

I first nticed this when I watched the two Don films, then the same thing in Ek Tha Tiger.

Whilst most of the dialogue is in Hindi, pretty much every character kept throwing in English sentences, often in the middle of a long spiel in Hindi.

Is is only the English subtitled version where this will happen or is it built into the original dialogue?
