I never watched this series, always thinking it was too childish looking. I didn't even realize it was part of the same Marvel Universe as the Avengers movies until recently, so I decided to give it a chance.
Needless to say, i was blown away!! I had a great time, and really liked all the characters as well as the humor. Normally i don't even like humor in my sci-fi, but for some reason this particular humor was fun in an endearing kind of way.
yeah, good casting, good jokes, light-hearted escapism, well done. nice soundtrack too.

shareI first saw Guardians Of The Galaxy with my dad and I didn't know that it was a hit and had a giant fanbase. But what really drew me to this movie was the character Baby Groot and I found him really adorable and cute and to put it simple he actually stole the show and made the movie worth watching. And it's no secret that Guardians Of The Galaxy has expanded into a successful franchise and will continue to keep growing. But while Baby Groot is my number one favorite character Star Lord is number two and now I am trying to collect everything Star Lord I can find. I wonder in the next movie we will see Gamora and Star Lord get married and Groot gets even more powerful? But I think this movie will still be a hit like Star Wars was back in 1977 if the fanbase continues for it
shareJust got into Shield and MCU I rewatched this one last night be interesting to see the other people in we all know when I see the next films The Winter Soldier was good seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron next.

Turned out to be a wonderful surprise. Good soundtrack, great visuals. A very good balance between humor, drama & action. Even if you're not a superhero fan, it's Just a great sci-fi film.
It's terrific. One of my top five MCU movies. And it's even Steven Spielberg's favorite superhero movie.
