to the numerous people complaining about the 'romance'

I just don't get how people come to the conclusion that the relationship between the ex gangster and the female assassin is necessarily a romantic one. I have seen numerous post on several different sites complaining about this. The gangster even says outright that there are several different kinds of love. We never get any "physical" indications that they are actually romantically involved at all, they even make jokes about it.

Take the scene where the girl collapses. The guy is embarrassed that he has to strip her of her clothing and so on.

If anything their relationship is somewhat similar to a father- daughter relationship... Sure it would have been kinda gross if there was an actually relationship going on, but I have watched the damn movie 3 times by now and I still don't see any...

sometimes it looks like father- daughter relationship, other times its like he says to himself "ok... it´s to young, no!" and go back to the respect.

but to bee honest i don't see anything wrong with it being a love relation. She IS a woman. He IS a men. the situation is peculiar.

Yeah. What romance?

I think it was, sort of, a mentor/protege type of love, with potential for romance, when she's a little older. I know when I was in my early 20's, I preferred older men. I would've been just as nuts about Song Kang-Ho, at that age, as I am now. There's NOTHING sexier, to me, than a great actor! I'd take Mr. Song over any of those pretty-boy actors in their 20's any day!
