I watched this KNOWING it was from Asylum and I enjoyed it.

I'm not saying this was a masterpiece, but I was bored one night on Netflix and watched it... it wasn't the worst thing I've seen. (Lightening Fire From The Sky is the worst thing I have seen)

It was cheesy, and even funny at times, but entertaining. It definitely delivered what the cover indicated that it would.

The kid actor was pretty decent and so was the old lady trying to kill him.

The special effects, and budget were very B-movie... even student film. Using obvious forced perspective to cut someone with a sword, editing so we don't SEE the actual car crash... plenty of small continuity errors with blood stains, timing cheats, etc.

But the over all result was a fun 82 minutes. I'd give the movie a C or C- on the A to F grading scale.

Worth watching if you like tongue in cheek horror, or are really into Omen style flicks.

*Spoilers Coming*

Didn't like the ending that much though, and I hate the boy had to die. Given the type of film it was, I expected a cheesier ending. But that may just be me and my tastes. I know a lot of horror fans always want to see a dark finale.

If you're on the fence about seeing this, just go into the movie knowing it was probably made in 4 weeks for less than the cost of an episode of Touch.

If you set your expectations with that in mind... the movie becomes a lot more enjoyable to watch.
