This is not a bad movie at all. Much better than the 11-11-11 movie that came out about the same time. Did the detractors confuse the two?

I`m tired of hearing from people who think the book was better.

I agree. There were some things about the movie that I didn't like - the special effects were lacking and there were a lot of terrible acting. Only the actor who played the dad was able to pull of the role well.

Don't tell me our God isn't an awesome God!!!!!

I thought the movie was all right too. Not going to win an Oscar, but certainly not bad for what it was.

And before whateveryourusernameis claims I am an Asylum shill... I'm pretty sure my posting history would indicate otherwise.

I hate when people claim anyone who disagrees with them must be a paid shill. Some people can have opinions that differ from yours.

I thought the kid and the old lady both delivered good performances. The dad wasn't bad either given the insanely tight schedule he most likely worked.

The old lady, and the neighbors were very good....the mother was good as was the nanny and nurse, I thought the dad was terrible
