Oddball, deadpan comedy where not much happens and a nonsensical ending.
I think that about sums it up. This movie is dry, dry, dry as the Sahara desert. It's full of awkward situations and dialogue that often features miscommunication or people not listening to each other. Its format is laid out in intervals of 5 years (through which the main character never seems to age), forwarding in time only to show how things have changed, yet essentially stayed the same. There's not much else to say about it. I found the premise amusing for the first part of the movie, but it's a stretch at 75 minutes. And then a suitcase that grants youth at the end. What the fĂșck? Is that supposed to be a metaphor for the cyclical nature of life or something? What the hell is it trying to say?
