DNA

It's in the future far enough that they can make dna strands out of jars of different genes like making Playdough spaghetti. All the dad had to do was tell the hospital guys what genes to assemble and they typed it into the "Big DNA Recombiner Machine" and it created the dna right then and there. That was the info he sent them there at the end. They made it and injected it....and damned be the paradoxes involved!
