Very Enjoyable

I was surprised by how much I liked Morlocks. I've seen enough SyFy originals to know that this is definitely one of the better, maybe even the best SyFy film. David Hewlett added a lot to it. I'm a fan of his, his characters always make a film more enjoyable.

I've noticed people always write off these SyFy films before they even watch them. And sure, there are quite a few lousy ones, but there are also good ones. I believe that a movie like 'Morlocks' will be enjoyed the most by people who don't know it's a 'SyFy Original'.

I'm watching it right now and I'm enjoying it, too.

Another poster, a few months back, mentioned how folks on IMDB seem to always either call a flick the greatest thing they've ever seen or it's the worst they've ever seen....that there were apparently no middle ground levels of enjoyment or disgust among a lot of posters here. I totally agreed then and still do now. While it may not be a ten, it's definitely *not* a one.

So far, it's a definite five in my opinion. Not seen anything so far that made me hate it.

I think that knowing it is a SyFy Original actually helps, because then your expectations are low. I saw this because it had David Hewlett, Robert Picardo and morlocks, but I expected it to be bad. I wouldn't dare say this (or any other SyFy movie) was good, but it was quite watchable. It felt a lot like a longer episode of "Primeval" that dealt with the future world.
