Bullet-proof?!

I had such high hopes for this movie. Then they pull the SUPER mutant gimmick. They're mutants (as a species), so they just HAVE to be super strong & bullet-proof. EVERYTHING in this movie takes 10,000 high caliber bullets to kill. The movie's believability takes a MAJOR hit with those details.

Yep, but it's still by far not the worst part of the movie.

It's not the only thing that's wrong with it, but it IS the WORST thing about it.

However, at the end of the movie, right before the explosion, it only took 1 bullet from a govt issued 9mm handgun to kill the morlocks. Not sure why it changed when up to that point you had to pepper the morlocks to get them to go down. Then right before the rift was closed with the explosion it apparently only took the single shot from a handgun to bring multiple morlocks down.
