THIS GENRE IS A RARITY FOR BLACK ACTORS

I loved this movie because it was a first for me. It was a pleasure to see a black psycho on screen. I'm tired of historic black films dealing with discrimination. I hate ghetto gangster movies. I like black romantic comedies, and this movie is a refreshing glint of sunlight. I welcome that dawn of black psychos. I was telling Baby Jane Hudson and Dr. Frank N. Stein the same thing yesterday.

Sad that this film did so poorly at the box office. It was well done and well made. Granted, a white A-list cast would have prolly brought in bigger dollars. That, and better marketing.

Hahahahaha! I enjoyed this movie as well. I don't specifically gravitate either way to or from black films in general but I watch when there seems to be a good story line and good actors. It seems the majority of black films are either like you said ghetto gangster movies or of the Tyler Perry vein. I can watch those as well but they get old after a while because they are so predictable.

I like Forest Whitaker in most of his roles and it's always a pleasure seeing Anthony Mackie. This was an unexpected story line for a predominantly black cast film and I really liked it more because of that. Hopefully it will lead to more of the same being explored by other writers, directors, and producers.

Forest Whitaker is great at playing off kilter personalities or psychos as in this case and it was a refreshing change from the usual things we see these days.

Yeah, I love seeing Black films with Black actors and actresses. I also agree with you. We need more Black horror/thriller films.

No Good Deed (2014) was ALOTTTTT better

Even An Invited Guest (1999) and The Confidant (2010) is much better than this

This one was just boring and made no sense and had characters that were hard if not impossible to care for

Have you ever stared fear and danger in the eye and said; YES?
