Is this show a blatant rip-off of an excellent podcast?
I really hate it when comedians get together and talk about their "craft" and they are not being funny about it.
To be fair, Steinberg hosted a similar show "Sit Down Comedy" from 2005-2007, so he was doing this before Maron. That being said neither show or podcast are groundbreaking in format.

And yes, as the poster above mentioned, Steinberg already hosted a similar show in the past.
I can remember similar talks going way back; for instance, Jackie Gleason on 60 Minutes in (I think) the 1970s. What is it with people who think the first time they see an idea is the first time it was ever done? No comprehension of life existing before they were born?

So Marc Maron invented the concept of the interview? I wasn't aware that was among his many accomplishments. Has he been on this show yet? If not he should come on as a future guest.
