David 'Name dropper' Steinberg

This show seems to be more of an exercise in validating that David Steinberg used to be successful or do interesting things. Every other story is interrupted by DS saying, "Yep, I knew them" or "Yeah, I used to go to their house" or "I used to...".

We get it, David, you were interesting in the 70's. Now please allow those who managed to stay relevant the last 30 years to talk more.

I know, sometimes he talks about himself more than he lets the guest lol

Where are your nipples, man!
I'll never tell...

Actually I feel the complete opposite about this than you do. I appreciate seeing this and learning about someone like David Steinberg that I was unfamiliar with even as I grew up in the 70s and never knew of who he was. I like seeing old footage of him with a young version of a contemporary comedian that exists today. I only caught a quick segment but it looked like a teen version of Bob Saget on the David Steinberg Show? where Steinberg was a psychologist but the show looked 70s-ish by the coloring and the set and this is my point. I enjoy seeing early footage of what Bob Saget was then, a complete unknown comedian. I never knew of who he was until Full House so seeing him performing years earlier is amazing.

Also Steinberg was responsible for a handful of episodes of both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm and both of those shows are among the best comedies, ever!
