Most children were good looking

I suppose they were.

A bit like babies isn't it? Usually they can't help not being appealing.

Surely the fundamental point here is this is one of those rare cinema occasions where we get a class of children looking and behaving like a class that age may well do so, given the extenuating circumstances.

I tire of (the generally American) school films which invariably have classes of 20 - 30 year old adults trying to vainly impersonate 16 - 17 year olds.🐭
