I have mixed feelings about the first season, for the script was weaker then. However, I loved to see the evolution of Isabel, since her childhood days. This part of the History is by far the least known, so in a way it was the more interesting season. Also, I very much enjoyed Pablo Derqui's performance as Enrique, arguably the most complex character of the series.
In terms of script, pace and overall quality I think season 2 was the best.
Any thoughts?
Season 3 was definitely the worst. Couldn't stand the French or Burgundy plots.
I'd say the later half of Season 1 after Ferdinand and Isabel get together is the best of the series and overall season 1 is the best.
I found season 2 a bit all over the place. The civil war and crusade in Granada was good, but I didn't like the forced romance between the Moor leader and the kidnapped girl or the Aragon stuff.
All 3 seasons are good but I should take one of them I woud choose season 2. I like the history about the Kingdom of Granada and the Reconquista.
