Anybody interested in the genre (or the potential sociological/cultural ramifications of it) will find this docu a pleasant viewing. Keep in mind, it's too short to dig too deep on the questions it rises - specially the very loaded question towards the end about whether disco was "political" - but you can fill up the empty spaces by reading the books by the people involved, such as Alice Echols' HOT STUFF: Disco and the Remaking of American Culture, Peter Shapiro's TURN THE BEAT AROUND: The Secret History of Disco and Vince Alleti's THE DISCO FILES. I've read them all & they all rock...i mean, they all disco.
