Green Ambition

I love short films. I've always been a fan of them. And if short films were children's novels, Sex, Lies and Melissa would be "The Little Short Film That Could" simply for the fact that it is so much farther reaching than its budget capacity could have possibly allowed. The backwards directing and anti-plot foundation that the movie uses help you overlook any engineering or production flaws the piece may possess. Where the plot sags, the director's approach to telling the story more than makes up for it. You can definitely see promise in this young director. I can't wait for Melissa Couch to have her own part in a major picture. What mayhem that plot would hold!
