Alexis was going out with a white man, not Jeffery. Alexis also implied that he has a boyfriend when confronted by Colin.
shareThough this is mentioned in the goofs section, I always thought Alexis was telling the truth that the guy at the café was her trainer. Colin only knew of "someone else" by the letters Alexis received and the note that was left as she slept that happened to be an envelope with Jeffrey's address on it. Alexis was probably trying to protect the identity of Jeffrey by answering yes, that the person at the café was the guy she was dating.
