it just was one of the best endings ever.
Really? Well, to each his own I guess. To me, the ending was obvious and unoriginal. From almost the beginning, there are strong hints that her son is dead; and the first time we see the ghost, he's clearly the first guy she had sex with in the bathroom. It was the same actor, except made up to look dead. If he looks dead, he probably is dead. If he's dead and haunting the restaurant and tormenting Lourdes, she probably killed him. So ... just too obvious.
There was the also the fact that she left the bodies in the back storeroom, and yet nobody saw (or smelled) them for days.
The movie was well made, and the actress who played Lourdes did a great job. It was atmospheric and entertaining, but the there was no surprise at all at the ending.
