How crowded was your theater?

15 people in this theater. A lot of old men and women.
I was the only young one.
How about yours?

I just saw it in a very small auditorium in an indie theater. I was with my mom, and there were three other groups of two. So, eight total.

That was around the same in my theater. I saw it at a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, and there were maybe 20 people. It was almost all older women. There were a couple of other younger women there and maybe two older men, but it was almost all older women.

Actually mine had a good size of 200. I'm from Vancouver and they played this at the Film Festival last year. They replayed it at the Vancity Theatre, the Theatre that also runs the VIFF office, and I believe 200 came. We have people that really support the movies shown at the film festival. Also it will be replaying at the suburb of New West in November.

Saw this back when it played a 2-week run in Dallas at the Magnolia (kind of art-house-ish); there seemed to me to be virtually no promotion, advertising, p.r.--even those who would have been excited to see this, for the most part were unaware of it, and that it was playing. Sad. I think there might have been three of us in the hall (and my friend and I were there free, because of her connections). I loved the movie, and so wish more folks had seen it.

Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.

Bout 60-70 people. The screen holds 150 and there was an earlier showing. May have been full if it was just one.
