The most inaccurate portrayal EVER All American Muslim is RIDICULOUS

I am a person living in the Middle East; in an Islamic country to be exact.

Here are the facts about this show:

There are no Shias and Sunnis or Drews in it - it is primarily one faction of Islam /one family and their close relatives/friends.

There are no Sufis in it.

There are no progressives nor traditionalists.

These people are just Shias and wahabis.

So already they are doing Islam a great injustice - because they are not representing the great majority of Muslims who are Sunni and Sufi; and are instead focusing on their indoctrinated beliefs that go against everything Islamic.

Here is why:

It is NOT mandatory to wear a veil.

You are no less a woman or less a Muslim, or less blessed, or less favored by God for not wearing one.
UTTERLY RIDICULOUS
This show is everything that solidifies the belief that Muslims are backwards and into retrogression to anybody with intelligence.

The Veil is NOT obligatory nor is it a condition;

Why?

Because the FIRST WIFE of Mohammed named Khadija - NEVER wore the Hjiab, or burka, or covered up. She was the first female Muslim and when she converted she remained as free as she always was. She is the reason why Islam exists at all- but people like these Shai don't want people knowing that. She was the one with GREAT standing in society, her reputation was exceptional, she was 30 years older than Mohammed, and she was some what a celebrity to her tribe - she was the most well known and the one most regarded as a wise woman.

Not only do women own clubs here in the Middle East - but even the first wife of Mohammed was a business woman. A Merchant to be exact. She didn't sow, or cook, or clean the house, she was the bread and butter of the family. The prophet could NOT read or write he was not educated in the slightest - an illiterate. So he could not be employed in many fields - his wife was his employer and boss. She would work and he would work for her - not the other way around. Salafis or what we call WAHBIs don't want the general public educated in this truth -retrogressive, dependent, brainwashed , non-questioning mentality is what they prefer. Which is everything Islam is AGAINST.

It is a taboo to have tattoos in Islam; the reason is equality. Even though in Mohammeds time tribes had tattoos. Yet the belief behind the taboo is when humans die humans are one with the earth, purified, and bodies are meant to sustain the earth and the souls move on to the next life; to have markings of past lives, that are not natural to a human body is seen as polluting the earth; and more importantly to have any man made markings individualizes a person in death - which is considered unfair.

The belief is that in death all are equal man and woman.

Yet, the men with Tattoos are dictating what women can and cannot own or wear?

AHEM - *beep* you.

The Koran itself mentions men and woman always in the same preference side by side and considerations - what women cannot do NEITHER CAN MEN.

Drinking IS forbidden but it isn't specified instead; it says 'ANYTHING that inhibits the mind, and impairs judgment is forbidden' - that means drinks, drugs, anything harmful for the body. It is forbidden to hurt yourself, your body, your mind. Not necessarily a bad thing. Yet this show doesn't even specify that let alone anything else - so I don't see why they even have this joke of a show.

Dancing and singing is ENCOURAGED not frowned upon. Specifically music - muslims sing the Koran for *beep* sake! Yet again there they are spewing their inaccurate interpretations.

The 40 day in bed thing the pregnant womans mother talks about - doesn't exist. That was utterly made up and utterly so full of BS. Typical of a Salafi to make up that sort of crap as they go along. Because that's what Salafi do, something they don't like they literally use the religion to justify their ridiculous reasoning.

Adopting is ENCOURAGED in Islam as the prophet WAS AN ORPHAN - who was adopted.

Most families I know have friends and families that are multicultural families. One woman adopted two kids from the US as well as Korea and Lebanon. So what they said about Islams belief of adoption is FALSE and utterly disrespectful to the prophet Mohammed.

When a woman IS UNABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN - wearing a veil isn't going to do JACK *beep* You aren't going to suddenly be making God happy, and then boom you're pregnant. GO SEE A DOCTOR YOU STUPID TWAT! Medicine is the second most important aspect to Islam - that womans sheik knows that and he was STILL spewing utter BS.

He is a prime example of how little the Shia Muslim ( in this case in the US ) actually practice their belief, and how they utterly depend on outside influence, and instead rely on complete self titled strangers who come from brain washing institutions to instruct them on what to believe - which is against Islam.

Granted there are GREAT Shai Muslims from scientists to writers; but in this case with the people on this show - they are the ones that literally are dependent upon an imam. Which is why so many imams have so much power - which is outright WRONG and against the faith. A Muslim is NOT supposed to be dependent.

Muslims are supposed to read the book and interpret it for themselves; there by living their life the way they feel is right, moral and ethical - not what people instruct them is or isn't acceptable.

Those are just a FEW of the MINOR problems I have with this farce of a show.

If I get into the serious point I will most likely be tossing my own PC out the window - *beep* idiots would turn me into a fail idiot.


This whole show is a JOKE and utter insult to the diversity that is Islam.

Muslims are not just Shia, or salafi, or Wahabi, and yet this show is only showing them and not the other factions, heritages, or cultural backgrounds.

Just a bunch of Lebanese who happen to be muslims.

They should rename the show All Lebanese American shai muslims.

God I am sorry for the ranting but I am just so angry with them.
