Gran hotel entire series with English subtitles available online

For those who live in the USA where Gran hotel is no longer available on Netflix: you can watch the entire series online with English subtitles.
http://putlockers.ch/watch-gran-hotel-tvshow-online-free-putlocker.html

Select an episode and press play, some adds will pop up but after clicking them away for a few times it actually starts playing.
I watched some episodes because some of my Netflix downloads were corrupt, but with this site I was able to fill the gap. I am on holiday so I downloaded it all at home.

I would love to discuss this series with others since I am totally hooked but since it is no longer on Netflix USA it is quiet on this message board. Perhaps this will help. :-)

After having seen it all the way through 14 times (well, the last season I only watched maybe four or five times since it wasn't available until much later), I decided to get the DVDs so I have them from Spain with just Spanish subtitles. I'm trying to learn Spanish so this forces me to try to figure out what they're saying. I'm doing pretty well though I'm thinking of doing a start-and-stop routine the next time I go through it, and learn each sentence so I know what each word means using a diccionario if I have to.

But if you'd like to discuss it, I'm pretty sure I still remember enough about the storyline and certainly the characters. The only trouble is, IMDb is threatening to get rid of these message boards. There are a couple of petitions I hope you'll sign to keep them open:

https://www.change.org/p/imdb-stop-imdb-from-disabling-the-message-boards?recruiter=27917358&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink

We'll see if they work. I'd hate to see these boards go. I just discovered them a couple of years ago.

How sad that they will close the imdb message boards! I am not very active writing on them but sometimes I post and I read them a lot after a movie or series I found very interesting. I signed the petition and hope it helps. Damn those trolls who spoil it for us!

Coming back to Gran hotel: I have watched until episode 60 so I am nearing the end. Alicia is being held in prison by Diego now. I already saw the special of Gran hotel on youtube so I know how everything ends but the road to it is certainly very nice to watch.

I love it that you learned Spanish from the series. I only know very little Spanish from some holidays, my most used sentence is "Solo hablo un poco Español." But watching Gran hotel with subtitles learned me a lot of new words and since I certainly will watch it again a couple of times more my Spanish will improve. But I doubt if I ever will be able to follow it without subtitles unless I take a course of Spanish. Which might be a good idea anyway since it is the second language of this world.

I also found on dailymotion.com the Bajo sospecha series, season 1. Only episode 7 is missing for some reason. Also a nice series with a totally different Yon González.

I know how you feel about the trolls. What's up with these people? Haven't they got anything better to do?

I didn't learn Spanish from Gran Hotel, I just learned a few phrases, but it got me interested. There are two online sites that are very good. One is free: , and the other has a reasonable cost: . Duolingo is a great place to start, but Fluencia will give you more detailed instructions on grammar and some background into various Hispanic cultures and attitudes, so it's very interesting. Solo hablo un poco español tambien, pero está mejorando. 👍 Buena suerte!

Thanks for the websites, it might be just the place to improve my spanish.

Meanwhile let's hope these message boards will not be removed but the imdb message about closing them is still standing, so I only have very little hope.

Yeah. Que bummer, as my Spanish teacher used to say...
