You're back! :)
I understand your feelings and I would want to go off on her too, but he is first of all thinking of Nadia; second, he was brought up better; lastly, it would make him basically no better than Fary, even though he was defending himself. I think he has to just put pressure on Nadia (gently) to stand up for him, for them. If not, he has to think about his own well-being at some point. He cannot allow her to destroy what they have, but in a way, I guess she would win if he did walk away after awhile. I get that it is Nadia's mom, but she clearly does not have Nadia's best interests at heart. I know that my parents could not stand any of the people that married each of my three siblings. They are all horrid people in different ways, but my parents have always taken the high road and done the best they could for their children. (sort of reverse; the spouse is the issue in these cases as opposed to the parent)
It isn't an easy situation. It seems like Farah sort of has the same situation with JP. Her parents are pushy but want her to be happy and get what she wants in life; JP's mom is a witch in Fary's order. She is horrible to Farah. Farah seems more likely to sock JP's mom in the jaw at some point as opposed to Nadia or Brandon. LOL
