Bathing With Her Clothes On?

Season 1, Episode 7. After escaping from her "husband" and seeking refuge with Corky, we see him giving Annie a bath in a small tub with her clothes on (bloomers and a camisole?). IMHO, it was a ridiculous scene. They could have made it a bigger tub with lots of suds and just showed bare shoulders, but maybe that would have been deemed as inappropriate.

I think Kevin was trying to comfort her yet be cautious because she tends to cross the line. She desires Kevin as a lover/husband. She has a huge crush on him and she is a child. So it was the proper thing to do.
