OK, I gotta say something..... I love IMDb because I love movies and love to share ideas and opinions with other movie lovers. But many times, this movie especially, has attracted so many mean and aggressive and hateful posts! I don't get it. People calling each other names and getting mad because of their opinion!!! Everyone is going to have a different take on any movie. and this one, so inspiring and amazing and TRUE..... well it should bring out the BEST in us. Can't we just offer our thoughts and ideas and ?'s if we have any???? Really...Thank you.

Yea I agree with you! Theres alot of immature people on IMDB that just like to start arguments, etc. We're suppose to be on here for the love of movies and ask questions, etc. some people really need to get banned when there's a lot of legitimate complaints against that person.

I so agree. There is no call for such negative, simply nasty, juvenile posts; they serve no purpose other than to reveal the immaturity and small-mindedness of their authors.

I wish there were more respect for one another shown than I've seen here, respect such as the miners in this film ultimately held for one another.

Oh you are preaching to the choir, with me. There is a "this is the worst movie ever made" thread on every board, along with the always popular "hate the wife/woman" threads.

Most boards I go to I am shouted down by those who disagree with me. I have to either tell them they are right, or not go to the board again.

Yes, DanaShelbyChancey, it is a widespread problem. IMDB does not care as long as they aren't going to be sued or lose money somehow.

The problem is that most good people just run and hide. Complaining about it does not help if it is the end of whatever the person does. Complaining needs to be the beginning of the solution, not the end of it.
