Either dothe film in the original language or do it in fluent english. Why the fake accent? It's annoying and fake.

Also the music. It sucks.

No wonder this movie isnt that high rated. Such a potential wasted.

arashpour, I know you mean well, but when you are older, I hope you will have read enough internet comments to include the following data in your worldview:

I have been reading internet comments for decades. I have been reading them since before you were born. I simply love them. I have read thousands. Let me assure you, you are not alone. No fake accent on film nor television has gone uncriticized by the tiny splinter of humanity that knows what the accent should sound like.

According to some commenters, no one fluent in Mexican Spanish has ever gotten away with aping Chilean Spanish. No Russian has ever gotten away with their Ukranian accent. Americans are famous for despising the sound of Brits who have lame US accents. Hollanders apparently can't do Frisian unannoyingly. I would prefer if Canadians pretending to be Americans would kindly stop saying, "aboot" instead of "about". I can hear their accent is "fake", but I don't find it "annoying", arashpour. I get that the authenticity of the actor's accent isn't a dealbreaker.

You are complaining that the accents in this movie weren't MerylStreepy enough for you? No actor other than she should ever be allowed to attempt a Kwakiutl accent lest 3 Wakashans find it "annoying"? We aren't allowed to cast the brilliant Juliette, Antonio, Oscar, Bob or that guy from Love, Actually (among others) because some whiny baby in the audience finds fault with their accent?

You need to get over this, Mr/Ms/Neither Arashpour. Everybody agrees with you. Nobody likes to hear their native accent mangled. To me, what's really annoying is that you are so new to internet comments that you didn't know the subject is already trite and irrelevant and experts like me are really really sick of hearing the same complaint over and over. Hasta la vista, baby!

Ok first of all, chill dude.

Second, read my post again. I am not complaining that their accent should sound natural. All I am saying is that they can speak normal English like every other human. They do not need to speak with the fake accent to remind me that these people are not American.

Edit: aside from the fact that you'd like to prove that you are old enough to put your opinion above others, there was no internet before I was born. Or even years after. But ok, if you want, you are much older than me. That will not help you win arguments on or off the internet.

Amen! LOL!!!! ???

That is all.

Boo-yah!

Well, I am a Canadian and I have no idea if the accents sound fake or not. They sound pretty good to me! I suppose many people watching also wouldn't know if they were fake. I guess that's what the film makers are counting on.

I said the same thing while watching it. I have no idea if they sound accurate, I only know it made it difficult for me to understand what they were saying.

This reminds me of the movie Alive (about the Uruguayan soccer team that crashed in the Andes mountains).

They were all supposed to be Uruguayan, but most of the actors were American. The thing is they all apparently spoke with their natural accents. So there was one movie where a bunch of Americans were playing foreigners, but no one put on a fake accent. There were two guys with Spanish accents in the cast, so I'm assuming those were part of their natural voices when speaking English.

The one odd thing in that movie (regarding accents) - John Malkovich played one of the survivors and was the narrator for part of the movie, he spoke with his American accent while his character in the movie itself was one of the guys with a Spanish accent!
