Finished on Legendary but....

The games great and Legendary was tough in places but well worth the battle through it to get a few unlockables in the multiplayer and *SPOILER*.....

That 'special' partial glimpse of the Chief's face after the end credits...

But the real excitement is probably the missions with the Spartan Ops!, the story's good and its keeping you guessing where they are going on the long term story arc, anyone else kinda let down by the big bad in the main story?.... I've read into the background of the character and all that but he just came across as a bit... Meh.. And I'm not liking the VoiceOver with the music on the clip after the end credits cause as much as it looked like a halo game I was hearing what sounded like the ending music and VoiceOver from a Transformers movie?!....

The campaign wasn't very clear, only when I went and watched the terminal videos did I understand what was going on, they shouldn't do the same thing in Halo 5 because unless you saw the terminals then you don't really get whats going on with the big bad. I didn't mind the voiceover at the end, they just want to tease us for whats to come, and it worked for me, I'm fairly excited.

What do you get from doing the campaign on Legendary for MP?

I thought the story in the campaign was pretty clear but only if you read the books. I like the fact that 343 wants to incorporate that stuff into the canon, I just hope they can do a better job of it in 5 and 6.

The one part of this trilogy that will never have a chance of living up to the past is the music. I enjoy some of the tracks on Halo 4 but I just don't think they'll ever be able to fully match Martin O'Donnell's work, he's one of the best, maybe the best, in the business.

You get the full Chief armour and visor colouring as well as a special tag (like a dogtag saying 117) for legendary

Oh I've been wondering why people with lower levels than me have that armor on MP, I'll get round to doing it soon, not looking forward to all those Promethean Knights though.

The CGI cutscene where they take his armour off? I saw that on normal setting. What unlockables do you get for finishing it on legendary?

* Edit - Chief's armour. Anything else?

On legendary you get that cutscene but you actually see a glimpse of his flesh.

See, I thought when the helmet was lifting that we would see that the Librarian's process had somehow transformed him - perhaps giving him some hint of Forerunner physicality or something.
