How is Spartan Ops for everyone so far? [SPOILERS]

I have to admit when I started the first five episodes were alright but all over the place. Now with the second half, especially episode 8 things are just getting better and better!

Looks like Halsey is now on ONI's hit list. I have to say, if they even think of killing her off I won't be happy. She's the last spec of hope we have to bringing Cortana back in some way shape or form.

What do you guys think?

I personally love Spartan Ops! It's way better than Firefight. Like you said the second half is better than the first. The cut scene where Halsey took over Roland was pure epicness.

As far as ONI trying to kill her it's a decent plot device but I don't think they actually will. Who knows? As much as I miss Cortana I don't think the series HAS to revive her to still be good.

OZ is the best show ever... EVER!

Oh I definitley agree. I don't think Spartan Ops is her 'revival' vehicle either. It's just that her memory lives on in Halsey and without her my broken heart would shatter even more...*tear* Cortana! Haven't cried so hard since Mass Effect.

I'm sad about Cortana also but it was the first death in all of Halo that truly made you feel something! 343 did a great job of adding emotion to this Halo. I really felt for the Chief.

3. There was nothing to cry about in 1, unless we're talking about the game's skill tree mechanic.

If you're talking about storyline its good but gameplay seems to be the same. Take a place from the convenant, defend it from Prometheans.

And I'm finding the gameplay so laggy that its almost impossible for me to play. I've resorted to just watching the cutscenes and those are fantastic...Storywise I definately think episodes 6-10 really stepped it up. I'm really curious to see where this story is going, and if they're going to release season 2 as part of Halo 4.
