Should've been a short film

The first 20 or so minutes are great. Lots of nice visual homages to old horror flicks and Pegg holds the viewer's attention all by himself.

But the joke soon gets old and I found the character of Jack to be tiresome. Every character was quirky and random for random's sake. It started to become annoying when random dance scenes or stop-motion padded out the film because of the lack of story!

I would see Crispian Mills next film because I appreciated the visuals but don't waste your time unless you're a big Pegg fan.

Very well said.

Agree. This would likely have been great as one of a TV series or maybe two stories in one film.
