in story wise, did Tekken: Blood Vengeance happen before Tekken 6 or did Tekken 6 happen before Tekken: Blood Vengeance?

i haven't played Tekken 6, nor have i watched the CGI Tekken movie but i wanted to make sure which happened first so i know i can either watch the movie or play the game first. that way i know how one story leads to another story in order of the timeline.

I haven't played any of the games, but have read about this. This film is set before the TEKKEN 6 video game, however according to most fans the continuity is full of holes, and not many of them like this film anyway.
