“I’m so sorry” is not a Get Out Of Jail Free card.

I like this movie a lot, but the stupidity level of some of the characters is tantamount to intolerable; and, yes, I know that comedy, like horror, depends on human stupidity. We have 1 competent woman, 2 brain-fart women, 1 of whom has an idiot and repulsive boyfriend for reasons unfathomable. The stupid people get killed, deservedly, while nonetheless putting the competent woman at risk. Note: stupid people are horrid lovers, so Lord only knows what the capable woman saw in her dimwitted lover. The only reason why anyone who bleated “I’m so sorry” was because THAT PERSON was sorry that s/he was going to
die, not because s/he had endangered anyone else. No shit that you’re so sorry.

Having vented that, I enjoyed seeing stupid people die, and the happy ending.
