Oh yeah, most defintely Tommy has the quintessential working class New York accent and more precisely, the Queens (borough) accent. It's not that different from the Brooklyn accent, but yes, VERY New York.

QUEENS accent. Big difference from Manhattan and Brooklyn.

You'd be surprised the variations of new york accents same as British accents. All depends on what area you reside in. Ex Voice/dialect coach here.

That's awfully hypocritical.

I'm a New Yorker (though I've lived in Los Angeles for 10 years and I don't have an accent) and you're definitely more rude than I am.
