Reza has never been to Iran and its obvious

Iran is far more mountainous than sandy. I rather him shut his mouth about Iran period.

But I thought he mentioned something about leaving there with his parents in the late 70' early 80's.

Also, I've never been to Iran but for some reason, I've always imagined it to be mountaineous and not sandy at all. I imagine it to be similar to Afghanistan landscape wise.

My airline captain father took me along on a flight to Tehran when I was 12 and even though we were in a nice hotel I still thought Iran was a real dump. And this was when the Shah was still on the throne.

Mid-century fab houses and looking like Palm Springs? Only someone who came from the class that looted the country before escaping to the West along with the Shah could say something so delusional.

Reza was born in Iran. His family fled when he was very young.

He cannot ever return because he's open about being gay and he would be jailed or killed if he did.

So he actually has been to Iran. Just not recently.

I have been to Iran, in 2015. I remember it being both mountainous and sandy, but not the fine sand that you find in the Sahara. It is rockier and not as dry and does have sparse vegetation. I have not been to the Eastern part which may be different.
