If the name was better...
I'd go see it! But the name is horrible!
shareTyler Perry's Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day
Does it sound better now?
Pastor T. D. Jakes
"Woman Thou Art Loosed"
I can't wait to see it.
One thing I know,it will be RAW.
If by "RAW" you mean garbage than I must agree with you.
shareThis is a sequel to the 2004 T.D. Jakes movie "Woman Thou Art Loosed". The 2004 film is a great dramatic film and by no means should be compared to any of the crap that Tyler Perry puts out and calls a film. I have high expectations for this film, regardless of what the title is. I'm sure that it will be as emotionally driven and well acted as the original.
shareGreat actors in a story about child abduction.
If you don't have respect for what Tyler is doing,
I will have a hard time explaining it to you.
I will say that Mr. Perry writes films that reach
an audience that no one else in Hollywood cares
about.I don't believe his movies are Oscar worthy,
but I would not call it crap because, like T.D.Jakes,
he makes movies to tell stories no one else wants
to tell.Tyler just uses a brand of comedy that is
RAW.If you don't know what Raw is,I know you are NOT
the audience he is trying to reach.
Please be quiet and let US enjoy ourselves while YOU
watch the other great movies out there.
P.S.
I'm sorry about the be quiet part.
Because at a T.P. movie WE like
to make noise(I don't know why
because I don't act like that watching other movies)
IT'S JUST FUN TO DO!!!!!!
Because a Tyler Perry movie is damn near a cult movie like Rocky Horror when it comes out.
You can't help, I just watch, but to react to what is going on.
I found it hilarious during Why Did I Get Married someone yelled, "Good for his ass" when Jill Scott bust the dude over the head with a bottle.
NOT ALL US BLACK FOLKS LOOK A LIKE!!! This is not a Tyler Perry movie. It was written by T.D. Jakes.

shareThe title is horrible! I completely agree. Not to mention, I hated the last Woman Thou Art Loosed. However, I read the plot of this film, and it piqued my interest.
I think I'll give it a try, but it's in select theatres, so I don't want to have to go out of my way to see it.
But again, the title is horrible, Biblical or not, if you're trying to appeal to the masses, a title that makese sense to everyone would be advisable. And we all know that TD Jakes is attached to the film, so people would realize that some sort of Christian message is attached.
