Seen today. Very weak film for for bottom drawer DVD.

Contains vague spoilers... Saw the trailer and thought it looked good. What a drag for from start to finish. I know films are make believe but this is plain silly. Why would you go out with a stranger who is clearly very dodgy, leaving your wife alone and then use drugs and get drunk. Then risk taking something through customs from the dodgy bloke and handing it to customs! The story is totally ridiculous. I had no connection with any of the characters, couldn't care less if any of them made it to the end as none had any likeable traits. Poorly acted with Ewan doing his usual surprised voice at each juncture. Almost feel asleep but made it through to the end. The detective with the wonky glasses was equally as wooden. Save your money and wait for this on crappy Netflix.

Yes I thought it was very contrived and predictable too, an OK watch but I was struggling to maintain interest by the end. Stellan Skaarsgard was the best thing about the film everything else was just so/so

If he was the Russian bloke lead he was fairly good. Abysmal film though.

that's all I kept thinking during the movie. That huge swede portraying a russian... I thought it was pretty convincing....

What a yawn fest. Flat, dull, no tension. It felt like a dress rehearsal.

Badly directed if anything.

Perry didn't risk taking something through customs. He discretely requested the customs official to speak to MI6. When he said to Gail "there's something wrong with my passport, you go ahead", it was a ruse in an attempt to keep his wife out of it.
