The kids

Would ANYONE after just seeing two kids at a tennis game be all like "Ah, those poor kids, I'll do anything to save them?". I for one wouldn't give a TOSS about some random kids.

I thought this was a very weak element of the story.

Also at the party where Ewan disappears and his wife is seen hugging the two kids on the sofa. WHO does that?

Bizarre.
