It's only playing in 188 theaters, as opposed to something like Snow White, which is in 3,773. So, $5,000,000 is out of the question. Personally, I'm guessing it'll make $550,000 - 700,000.

that can't be true - I know for a fact it garnered in EXCESS of $22 over the weekend.
shareWell, the official numbers are in: it made $113,882. YIKES! That's BAD! Hmmm...so, if a theater was showing it 5 times a day, for 3 days...and it was in 188 theaters...and at the average of, oh, $7 a ticket (and that's underestimating it, I'm sure), that means every showing had an average of...drum roll...6 people in it!

Right now the gross stands at $169,000. Don't worry fans, a movie like this has great legs! Because of good word of mouth it will probably hit $170,000... maybe.
shareIt might not be a record, but the movie dropped 96% in its second weekend. I think it went from 188 theaters to, like, 11. Exhibitors couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
