Did you sympathize with Curtis?

I quite liked how the characters in this movie were quite well rounded with shades of gray. Incl the sniper. However I think the film makers tried to make the thuggish Curtis a little too "affable" as if he should be redeemed for his horrible actions (which to me included the way he murdered the two other murderers). I like how the rest of the characters didn't seem to support that, vut it all seemed to become an afterthought rather quikly.

I hated Kurtis at first, but grew to like him as the story unfolded and he ultimately proved to be a not totally awful person with a few redeemable traits.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

No, he was a *beep* He didn't even do that much to help - gave the alcy some of his favorite whiskey, started the fire... not much else... so didn't redeem himself at all.

Just a shame the sniper didn't put a couple in his fvcking head. *beep*
