Hey guys just wondered if anyone knew where the tower block from the film is or the name of the building. I've looked everywhere and no luck all I know is its east london and not actually called serenity house or tower block 31..
shareThere aren't many towers with that distinctive type of left-side staircase nowadays, which helps narrowing down the list. But the surroundings and the tower blocks in the film look very different from the ones in real life. I can't think of any that matches those towers. I'm willing to bet there aren't three towers. Just one tower, and the other two towers were digitally created.
Also when I saw the towers in the film, I was confused because it's like, those towers are a composition of different towers. Same design and structure as Kelson House in Isle of Dogs, and the same staircase as old Aragon Tower in Deptford or Maydew House in Rotherhithe. As if someone added the staircase of old Aragon Tower or Maydew House to the left side of Kelson House. Weird.
I know this is a few years on, but I wanted to know as well. After many hours of hunting down tower blocks and estates in East London, where they filmed, I finally figured out thanks to Twitter, and the director posting an picture saying 'nostalgic vibe down here today mate! #towerblock #4yearanniversary'

I believe that is Kelson House, in the Samuda Estate in Tower Hamlets, correct?
