Sad...

First 10 minutes of the movie, life in the UK 101.

I couldn't help but feel pity for you poor disarmed *beep* living in that nanny-state sh*thole.
Cowering like domesticated cattle in the face of a bunch of drunk thugs that would easily be put down by someone with a gun in the free world.

Hurrdurrr 'its just a movie', no, sh*t like that minus the sniper-hero's justified rampage happens every day in the UK and all the inept pigs can do is paperwork over some poor *beep* corpse assuming its ever reported.

And the ending just stinks of censorship, gotta have the 'good guys' win, better not give the cattle any silly ideas on how do get actual justice yourself.

The only pitiful thing I see around here is you, based on that post. :/

So I assume the rest of us should judge other places - like the US for example - on every American movie ever made, like the SAW-movies? "How stupid are those American buggers, huh? Letting themselves get trapped and tortured by serial killers like that, while people in the rest of the free world go on about their live blablabla yadayadayada etc."

P.S. There are firearm death statistics from the UK available all over the internet that - compared to places like the US, South America etc - makes your entire rant about violence in the UK totally ridiculous.

More insanity. Based on murder rates alone, not just "gun deaths", the murder rate is FOUR TIMES HIGHER in the USA than in the United Kingdom. Any idiot could reason so far as to understand that if the murder rate itself is four times higher, than naturally also the violence rate itself will be higher, or do you think somehow US citizens die more easily than British ones, since you seem to imply that more violence against British people lead to fewer deaths.

You sound like one of the crazies who scream "commie" left and right, the type of people who just make up facts to suit their own cause, but by all means: show us the statistics that support your ideas, if you can pull them out of your buttocks.

Ha ha ha! Dude, do some reading or something, you sound moronic. You've said yourself it's just a film. This really doesn't happen every day. Obviously there's some scumbags about in rough areas that you wouldn't want to run into, but they are the VAST minority. Are you honestly saying there are no dodgy characters or areas where you live? (US I assume)

I'm afraid you're doing nothing to help your own national stereotype with a post like that!

Censorship? Nannystate? Wait a minute, are you talking about the UK or the US?

You don't know sh!t, Jon Snow!

What I must admit living there or from the feel of the movie was as if they do not go out of there houses as such a bad place. But pretty sure they have jobs and do go out to get food. And Curtis seemed to be saying giving me money and I will stop people bashing you in. But yes I have seen there are areas worse then others where this goes on. Sometimes I have been to places and thought get out of here now. But that is life

I think you take fictional films way too seriously. but then again you're an idiot who actually believes the UK is an nanny state and the USA is the land of the free.

You can't drink in America until you're 21. Nice. Sex and nudity is still frowned upon while in Europe it's common and everywhere because you know, it should be, it's normal and natural. Janet Jackson shows her bare boob and there's mass outrage across the country, kinder eggs are banned because they're dangerous, and jaywalking is a crime. Land of the free? Sounds like Nazi Germany, unless you want guns of course. There's always people who can take out a madman with a gun in the US. Unfortunately, it's mostly madmen who kill innocents like in Vegas, or trigger happy cops who think they're Dirty Harry.
