Talk about underrated. This is a neat little gem!

Since I've first seen the trailer, years ago, I decided to give this movie no shot.
I remember being promoted as a found footage film, from the producers of "Paranormal Activity", wich I never really liked.

Having just watched "Chernobyl Diaries", I have to say I was pleasantly surprised!
First of all, it's NOT found footage at all, wich came as a surprise. The cinematography is very nice for a low budget film, the locations are great, overall moody and atmospheric.
Yes, it's still somewhat of a B-flick, but an above average one. They showed very little, and very effectively. That scene with the bear was brilliant, made me jump!

Anyone else thinks this is a too much of an underrated flick?

I have to agree with you. I was expecting the worst seeing "from the producers of 'Paranormal Activity'". After watching the film, it's much better than I anticipated. It's not a masterpiece by any means, but an entertaining ninety minutes nonetheless. 6.5/10

Yeah it's definitly worthy of a higher rating than 5.0 (currently)

Death to mainstream cinema!

It's not great, but I agree. Deserves a better rating.
